How do I download Steam Mods?
We’ve enabled anonymous game server downloading for the mod files on Steam Workshop. You can use a website, such as this one: https://www.steamworkshopdownloader.io/ to download mods you find interesting.
1. Find the mod you want on the steam store, and copy it’s web address into the given website. It’ll go find your given mod and download a ZIP file.
2. Extract the contents of the zip into its own folder in your Kingdoms and Castles mod directory.
Where is my Kingdoms and Castles mod directory?
In Windows, with the default installation:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Kingdoms and Castles\KingdomsAndCastles_Data\mods
For Mac, with the default installation:
/Applications/Kingdoms and Castles/Contents/mods
Note: the mods folder is generated after running the game the first time
