We’re getting very close to final release of the update! We’re combining the Beta 3 and 4 build notes here, focusing mostly on fixing bugs right now.

Features

  • Added some dialogs handling the case where you give a gift to an enemy while at war
  • Added happiness buffs for defeating enemy troops, and debuffs for combat deaths
  • Added different icon for catapult to differentiate it from the archer
  • Added way to rate limit shipping routes
  • Add option to keep AI in power after destroying their keep to end a war (keep will also rebuild)

Improvements

  • Escape now closes the Advisor ui if it was open
  • Tweaked survival so you can’t cheat it by keeping your island population tiny
  • Added last city advisor and witch as 3D models
  • Allow units eligible for recooperation in a group of mixed units to recooperate
  • Added checkbox to toggle ability to move other AI units in creative mode
  • Added a little visual effect on tile actions (chop, chop remove, demolish, rebuild)
  • Increased dragon escalation in survival 250 mode

Fixes

  • Fixed a save issue where sometimes it wouldn’t save with ‘Save & Quit’ option
  • Fixed duplicated chamber of wars when taking over an AI landmasss
  • Fixed a bunch of stuff being visible through the Fog of War
  • Fixed bug where people would walk into deep water on loading a game
  • Fixed diplomats being unable to unload in a gate
  • Fixed AI pulling up invalid conversations
  • Fixed bug where you could build inside rubble
  • Fixed ogres hitting units that were far away
  • Fixed issue where some buildings weren’t swapping to the right color after take over
  • Fixed drag selecting accidentally dismissing AI diplomats
  • Fixed AI asking for help with wolves when there weren’t any
  • Fixed AI not building keeps on small islands
  • Fixed AI blocking rivers with fishing huts
  • Fixed transport cart path blocked by gates
